Share Pyx is Pay-as-you-use Software

The patented software is supplied free of charge, but use of it requires a licence for which there is a monthly subscription. The SUBSCRIBE page shows the three alternative subscription options which depend on how far forward you wish to pay. For a single month, the fee is R165. If you undertake to pay for six months, the fee is reduced to R150 payable each month. If you make a single payment now to cover the next 12 months, the cost is R1400, less than R120 per month!

But before you decide to subscribe, you will want to see exactly what you will be getting. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Software Download’ button; then follow the prompts. (The Security Warnings may look alarming, but they are obligatory.)

Software Menu

The Menu page of the software has two buttons reading 'Launch Application' and ‘Help Documentation’.

Clicking the ‘Launch Application’ button will open up the Excel spreadsheet, which is the control centre of the software. But at this stage the programme will not be active. Many columns will contain nothing but hashes. If you then click on the other button, you will open a very comprehensive Manual that tells you about the Share Pyx concept and how the system works.

How to Subscribe

Having decided to subscribe, please go to the SUBSCRIBE page. Please complete the form and click on SEND. It does not matter whether you do this before or after you pay the subscription. You can make the payment by electronic transfer or you can post a cheque to the address supplied. The purpose of the form is let us know your personal details for our register of subscribers and to enable us to prepare the personalised codes that will activate the software you have already downloaded.

User Name

We ask you to choose a ‘User Name’ in addition to your ‘Full Name’ because we require a user name to be entered together with a licence number (which we will provide) at the top of the Excel spreadsheet. Without these, the spreadsheet will not activate. But there is not a lot of space for the name, so it should not consist of more than one first name in addition to surname. And the total number of characters should not exceed sixteen.

E-mail

Within office hours, shortly after we receive your payment, we shall send you an e-mail that supplies codes and other user-specific details in a format that will make it simple for you to enter them in the Excel spreadsheet referred to above. When you have done this, the programme will immediately come to life.

TOP TEN

At the same time, the e-mail will include details of the TOP TEN shares described in the paragraph headed ‘Past Performance’ on previous page. This is to give you a flying start and help you to get to know how the programme works.

Our choice of TOP TEN is reviewed constantly as new information comes to light. But we regret that it is not possible for us to keep users informed about the changes.

Other Shares

Another 40 rows have dummy entries. You can substitute in these rows details of any other shares in which you are interested, and the computer will work out their merit ratings. The computer Sort function (described in the Manual) will rank the list of shares in order of investment merit.
